The regulator of the electricity sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

SERA has been playing a key role in regulating the electricity sector for two decades, working in coordination with other entities across Saudi Arabia's energy ecosystem. SERA regulates the sector, licenses electricity operations, and oversees the technical performance of more than 146 licensed entities. Ensuring continued fair competition and monitoring service quality to protect consumers and sustain the reliability of the sector.
